Maine Oyster Farm Experience – Taste, Learn & Explore Casco Bay
Set sail for a truly Maine-made adventure that celebrates the coast’s most beloved delicacy: the oyster. This 2-hour Oyster Odyssey takes you through Casco Bay’s hidden waterways to Mere Point Oyster Farm, where the ocean’s bounty comes to life.
Watch as local farmers tumble, sort, and grade oysters at the floating work platform while sharing insights into aquaculture, sustainability, and the incredible journey from seed to shell. You’ll have 45 minutes with our knowledgeable guide, getting an up-close look at the farm’s operations.
Then it’s time to taste: 6 freshly shucked oysters, a lobster roll with chips, and a signature goodie bag to take home. This small-group experience is part scenic cruise, part culinary discovery, and all Maine charm.

Meeting and pickup
There is a paid parking lot at the very end of Thames St. There are blue picnic tables with a 'tours' flag located between the parking lot and Fore Points Marina - this is our meeting spot. We are located at Fore Points Marina off the Eastern Promenade Trail.

Casco Bay Maine - Mere Point Oyster Farm We'll buzz through Casco Bay, seeing all the bay islands and wildlife, until we get to Mere Point Oyster Farm where you'll learn all about Oyster Farming along with trying a few of the tasty oysters.
