Learn how to make authentic Italian pizza and gelato from scratch. Have fun in a small group cooking class at a traditional Italian restaurant in Praiano, in the heart of the Amalfi Coast.
Relax over lunch or dinner while tasting your starter, main dish, and dessert with enchanting sea views. Once back home, surprise your family and friends with your new cooking skills.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The cooking class will take place at La Gavitella restaurant in Praiano.
To reach the venue from the city center of Praiano, you can take the stairs (around 400 steps) that start near the Church of San Gennaro.
For the morning experience, the appointment will be at 10:00 AM at the restaurant.
For the afternoon, the appointment will be at 5:00 PM at the restaurant.
To reach the venue from Positano, you can take our shuttle boat that departs at 10 AM or 5 PM from the main pier.
To reach the venue from Marina di Praia, Praiano, you can take our shuttle boat that departs at 10 AM or 5 PM from the small dock.
After lunch or dinner, the return shuttle will be arranged, either to Positano or Marina di Praia.
The boat will be recognizable because the sailor will wear the Positano Boats or La Gavitella T-shirt. Moreover, the skipper will pull in and call your name.
To reach La Gavitella from Praiano, take the stairs (around 400 steps) near San Gennaro Church. From Positano, take our free shuttle at 10AM or 5PM from the main pier. From Marina di Praia, Praiano, take our free shuttle at 10AM or 5PM. The sailor will wear a La Gavitella T-shirt.
What to expect
Our professional chefs will greet you with an Italian breakfast with coffee and a cornetto in the morning session, or with a welcome drink in the afternoon. Then, put on your apron and hat and get ready to cook!
Receive step-by-step instructions and prepare authentic Italian bruschetta, the dough for three typical pizzas — Pizza Margherita, Pizza Marinara, and Pizza with Amalfi Coast lemons — and finish by making refreshing Italian gelato. Enjoy Italian Prosecco and limoncello during the class while we capture these special moments with photos and videos.
After the cooking class, enjoy lunch or dinner featuring the dishes you prepared while admiring the Li Galli Islands and the Faraglioni Rocks at sunset. You will receive the recipes and a certificate of attendance. The shuttle boat will take you back at the end. Vegetarian option available on request.
