We will leave San Jose at 6 a.m. crossing the majestic Braulio Carrillo National Park, a sanctuary of mountains covered with cloud forest and towering waterfalls. As we move forward, our guide will share fascinating details about the region’s biodiversity and history. We will pause for a delicious breakfast in a panoramic restaurant before continuing the journey to the pier. We will board a comfortable boat and thus begin the adventure in this natural paradise. We will navigate serene rivers, mystical canals and crystal clear lagoons, surrounded by lush biodiversity. Enjoy an unforgettable experience in a unique environment, where the majesty of flora and fauna is displayed in every corner, with exotic birds, playful monkeys and alligators emerging among the vegetation.

Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be greeted with a refreshing welcome cocktail and enjoy a delicious buffet lunch, with a variety of dishes prepared with fresh ingredients from the region. Then you will have time to settle into your comfortable room, immersed in the tranquility of the forest. After a well-deserved rest, we will head to the charming village of Tortuguero, a Caribbean corner full of culture and traditions. This small town, accessible only by water or air, is the heart of sea turtle conservation and the reflection of authentic Costa Rican life. We will walk through its colorful streets, where we can know the warmth of its people and discover local crafts. Then, we will visit the Turtle Museum, a space dedicated to the protection of these majestic creatures. Here we will learn about its life cycle, conservation efforts and the importance of Tortuguero as one of the most important nesting sites in the world.
