What to expect

Starting at St. James Park on King Street East, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and head into downtown's mix of old and new. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.

Roy Thomson Hall anchors one end of the route — the glass-skirted home of the Toronto Symphony. Riddles play on acoustics, architecture and famous premieres.

The Gooderham Building steals the show next: the 1892 flatiron wedged into its corner like a ship's prow, with a trompe-l'oeil mural riddles adore.

Then the Cathedral Church of St. James rises over its leafy square, holding the tallest church spire in Canada and plenty of Victorian secrets.

Around two hours of skyscraper canyons and heritage corners later, the leaderboard names Toronto's top explorer.
