What to expect
At the Museo Guggenheim Bilbao, Frank Gehry's titanium masterpiece on the riverbank, challenges explore the building's structural innovation and how it transformed a post-industrial city overnight.
The trail moves to the Parque Casilda Iturrizar, a formal garden of fountains, pergolas, and sculptures that has served as the city's green lung since 1907 — questions here cover its Belle Époque design and the family whose philanthropy created it.
At the Palacio Foral, the neo-Renaissance seat of the Basque provincial government, you'll tackle riddles about the institution inside and the ornate stonework outside.
