What to expect
From the city centre, the trail leads you into Coventry's mix of medieval and postwar architecture — a city shaped equally by its ancient guilds and the devastation of 1940. The first riddles bring you to the Lady Godiva Statue and the iconic clock, where the city's most famous legend plays out in bronze.
Next, the route leads to Coventry Cathedral — the bombed ruins of the old cathedral standing deliberately alongside the modernist new one, a powerful symbol of reconciliation and renewal.
From here, the app guides you to St Mary's Guildhall, one of the finest medieval guildhalls in England and a building with a royal history going back to the Wars of the Roses.
