What to expect

Starting at Lucerne's train station on the lakefront, you'll open the Explorial app, enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message, and head for the water. The tour is fully self-guided — no guide, no fixed start time, just your group and the city.

The Kapellbrücke steals the opening scene — the 14th-century wooden bridge angling across the Reuss, its gable paintings telling the city's story. Riddles walk the planks with you.

In the old town, the Fritschibrunnen fountain guards carnival traditions older than most countries. Trivia asks who Fritschi actually was — locals still debate it.

Then the Hofkirche raises its twin needle spires, survivor of a fire that took everything else. The courtyard views earn the climb.

Around two hours between lake and Alps. The leaderboard settles it all with Swiss neutrality.
