What to expect
The Champlain monument opens the story: the navigator who founded the city in 1608 watches over the Dufferin Terrace with the Château Frontenac looming behind. Riddles set sail from here.
Down the Breakneck Steps, the Quartier Petit-Champlain unfolds — stone facades, hanging signs and the famous mural where trivia hides in the painted crowd.
Then Place Royale completes the journey to the beginning: the square where New France took root, anchored by its little stone church.
Around two hours between upper and lower town, funicular optional. The leaderboard renders its verdict — en français ou en anglais.
