    Santa Maria Novella

    Your Florentine experience begins from the marvellous square Santa Maria Novella where you can also see the homonymous Basilica, masterpiece of the Renaissance art. Here you will meet your guide who will acquaint you with the history and the historic figures of Florence.

    Piazza del Duomo

    On a pleasant stroll through the city alleys we will easily reach the Duomo, dedicated to St. Mary of the Flowers. You will enjoy the majestic Cathedral, symbol of the city and learn how the genius of Brunelleschi masterfully built the big dome!

    Piazza della Signoria

    Our itinerary will allow you to admire the Signoria Square, which boasts an array of sculptures, artworks of the most famous renaissance artists as Donatello, Cellini, Giambologna and Michelangelo (in this square you can see the copy of the iconic David). Just around the corner we will have our first tasting in an Florentine bakery shop where you will savour delicious pastries and Tuscan sweets that really delight you. We will continue our walk towards the Arno river while we’re enjoying the view of the Uffizi Gallery and we’ll give a glimpse at the Ponte Vecchio.

    Later we will explore the medieval district and the Santa Croce church which is the burial place of some illustrious historic figures of Florence. This is the site where an ancient historical tournament takes place every year, in a background of elegant residences owned by the merchants who made the town very powerful in the past centuries.

    Finally, we’ll head up to the east side of the city and you will enjoy the bustling atmosphere while wandering through the Sant’Ambrogio food market and learning to know Florentine specialties.
