Experience one of Idaho’s classic river adventures on a full-day whitewater rafting trip down the legendary Salmon River—known as the “River of No Return.” This guided rafting journey covers roughly 20 miles of beautiful canyon scenery, exciting Class III rapids, and calm stretches perfect for swimming and relaxing.
Your experienced river guides lead the way through fun whitewater while sharing stories about the history, wildlife, and lore of the Salmon River canyon. Between rapids, enjoy time to float, swim in warm river pools, and take in the rugged landscapes of central Idaho.
Midway through the trip, stop at one of the Salmon River’s famous white sand beaches where your guides prepare a fresh riverside lunch. Relax, play beach games, or soak up the sunshine before continuing your adventure downstream.
This full-day rafting trip is ideal for families, friends, and first-time rafters looking for the perfect balance of excitement, scenery, and authentic Idaho river time.

Meeting and pickup
Your first stop will be at our store at S&S/ Mountain River Outfitters. You will check in with one of our adventure specialists and get ready for a fun day on the water! Please arrive 15min early to sign waiver and be ready for your trip. Our store will have all your last-minute needs for the day.
