This is a highly engaging experience run by activity instructors with years of instructional experience who will give you hands on experience learning how to throw axes.
At Fat Squirrel Outdoor the throwing axes are lightweight making them easy for most people to throw.
Being outdoors it is a great tension reliever that is uniquely meditative and exciting at the same time.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Find us in the walled garden at Asthall Manor. The walled garden is nestled in the beautiful village of Asthall, a stones throw from Clarkson's Farmer's Dog pub, it's the perfect location to sample rural Oxfordshire life.
What to expect
Your experienced team of instructors will coach you throughout the session to help you make the most of your throwing time. We cannot guarantee you will hit the target every time but we will coach you to give you the best chance.
On arrival you will complete a consent form if you have not done so ahead of the session and the session will start with a safety briefing given by one of your instructors.
For small groups your instructors will set individual challenges to achieve. For larger groups they host a fun elimination game to reveal a champion thrower. Practice throws are included so that everyone has a fair chance of winning.
