You will be picked up from the Bus Terminal at the Airport
Kick off your journey with a departure from OR Tambo Bus Terminal at 7:00 AM, arriving at a private camp near Kruger National Park by 1:00 PM after a scenic drive through Mpumalanga’s Highveld and Lowveld. After a quick lunch (not included) and check-in, embark on an afternoon sunset game drive in an open safari vehicle through a private reserve adjacent to Kruger. Keep your camera ready for potential sightings of the Big Five—lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo—along with giraffes and zebras. Enjoy sundowners in the bush as the day winds down, followed by a return to camp for a hearty African dinner and stories by the campfire.
Rise early with coffee and rusks at 5:00 AM, setting out for Kruger National Park by 5:30 AM. Spend 7-8 thrilling hours exploring the Orpen-Satara area, renowned for its high lion concentrations and exceptional game viewing. Your expert guide will adapt the route based on wildlife activity, maximizing your chances for unforgettable encounters. Return to camp in the late afternoon to relax, then gather for a starlit dinner under the African sky.
Marvel at one of the world’s largest canyons, known as the largest “green canyon” due to its lush subtropical vegetation and red sandstone outcrops. The Three Rondavels’ beehive-shaped peaks offer a breathtaking vantage point over the canyon.
