Gijon becomes the crime scene in this self-guided detective game, where the clues are hidden in plain sight in the streets around you.
The case is the murder of Balthasar, and the evidence is scattered across the old centre - past Termas Romanas de Campo Valdés, Cerro de Santa Catalina, Parroquia San Pedro and Playa de San Lorenzo. You decode messages, photograph what does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up.
Every puzzle you crack removes a name from the list of suspects. Play as a couple, bring the children along, or send two or three teams out at the same time and turn the investigation into a race - which is what makes this murder mystery game work as well for a team outing as for a day out. The last answer is waiting somewhere in the centre of Gijon.

What to expect
The game takes about 2 hours and you play at your own pace. One ticket covers a team of 1 to 4 people sharing one phone; larger groups buy extra tickets and can race each other. Choose a start date and time when booking, then begin whenever it suits you - there is no guide to meet and no fixed departure. Stop for lunch, leave the case where it stands and pick it up later. A smartphone with an internet connection is required. Your investigation starts at Plaza Mayor.
After booking, you receive an email with your instructions and game link. Download the free Loquiz app before you set off, head to the start location and open the link to begin.
