Day 1: City of Dogubeyazit

This palace is an Ottoman period palace which was built in the 17th century. It is one of only a few remaining examples of its kind.
The date when the castle was built is unknown. It is believed that the castle remained from Urartian period. Inside the castle, there are the Urartian tombs and architectural remains from the Ancient ages. The castle consists of 3 parts, and there are caves and the remains of a temple in the middle of it.
