  Monopoli

  Monopoli reveals its most authentic charm: an interweaving of white houses overlooking the water, walls that seem to rise from the rocks and an ancient port that smells of tradition. The Castle Charles V appears imposing, with its stones diving into the blue. Continuing along the coast, Cala Porta Vecchia enchants with its expanse of clear sand and the village behind. Then the coves begin: Porto Bianco, Porto Rosso, Cala Paradiso, small wonders enclosed by rocks shaped by time. Further south, sea caves, natural arches and wave-sculpted cliffs show the wilder side of the city. At sunset, the walls are tinged with gold and Monopoly seems suspended between sky and sea, splendid in its Mediterranean simplicity.
