Meeting point

Meet us at the far south end of the Will Roger's State Beach parking lot. Please enter the parking lot at the PCH and Temescal Canyon Rd Entrance and drive south to the end of the parking lot. We will surf at Lifeguard Tower 15 in Santa Monica, CA.

What to expect

Join Sunrise Surf Academy for an unforgettable private surf lesson that goes far beyond just learning to surf. Whether it's your first time or you're looking to level up your surf skills, our personalized surf sessions are tailored to your experience, ability, and vibe.

When you arrive, you’ll be welcomed by your stoked instructor(s), ready to get you dialed in for an epic session. We’ll fit you with the right wetsuit and board, then head to the sand for a dynamic land lesson to fit your needs.

Then it’s go time—let the shredding commence! You’ll spend the majority of your lesson catching waves with direct in-water coaching. Our focus is always on creating a safe, fun, and empowering environment to help you connect with the ocean.

Back on land, you’ll discover the hardest part of surfing is taking off the wetsuit. You’re welcome to rinse off, but don’t be surprised if the urge to paddle back out sticks with you.
