    Cuenca

    You will be picked up at 9am from your meeting point given by the operator and taken to the biggest animal market of southern Ecuador. You will have the opportunity to see how people negotiate the animal prices for cows, llamas, lambs and more. Learn about the old way of making business through "trueque" or bartering.

    or bartering. Then you will visit Mercado 10 de Agosto, a market offering a mix of traditional and modern culture. Later you will visit Rotary Market (Plaza Sangurima) where you will find handicrafts made of wicker, iron and clay. See how craftsmen work with their hands with clay pots and discover why this has become such a popular destination for clay pots from Jatumpamba and the Pottery Crafts Market. Your day will conclude with transportation back to the meeting point.
