  The famous café entitled with the name of Pierre Loti, a famous French writer, is reached on getting to this ridge on which the perfect view of Golden Horn can be watched. We get down the hill by cable car.

  Eyup Sultan Mosque

  This important complex marks the supposed burial place of Ebu Eyüp el-Ensari, a friend of the prophet who fell in the battle outside the walls of Constantinople while carrying the banner of Islam during the Arab assault and siege of the city (AD 674 to 678 ). His Tomb is Istanbul's most important Islamic shrine.

  Hz. Halid Ebu Eyyub El-Ensari

  Ebu Eyyub Halid bin Zeyd or Ebu Eyyub el-Ensari, shortly remembered as Eyüp Sultan, was one of the companions of the prophet Mohammed, He was the first person who hosted Hz.Mohammed s.a.v. (the prophet of Islam)in his house when Hz.Mohammed immigrated from Mecca to Medina. That’s the reason why he was also called “mihmandar-ı nebevi”.Later on, he martyrized in Istanbul at his eighties.

  Camlica Hill

  Çamlica Hill is located within the borders of Üsküdar district, on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, near the first suspension bridge.   Beylerbeyi Palace is perched on the Bosphorus Strait and has a nautical theme that runs through the decorations inside, thanks to the passion Sultan Abdulaziz had for the sea. Paintings on the wall and designs on the ceiling depict water-and-ship-themed images, and the palace is dotted with fountains and pools.
