Harvest has always been a time of celebration in the countryside: after months of hard work, the ripening of the grapes marks the beginning of the winemaking season. Before mechanization, whole families gathered to crush the grapes with their bare feet inside large wooden vats, turning harvest into a shared ritual.
This tour is perfect for those who want to experience this ancient tradition firsthand. It includes a visit to a winery with wine tasting and a typical local lunch. Depending on the season, guests can pick grapes or take part in traditional foot-stomping using fresh grapes provided by our company.
The experience also includes a complimentary visit to Castellina in Chianti, an iconic village of the Chianti Classico area, rich in history, culture, and artisan shops.
Round-trip transportation from your hotel or apartment in Florence is included.

We will take you to an amazing family farm and here the family will show you how to harvest and stomp on grapes.. then taste wine and enjoy a great meal. "I LOVE LUCY", everybody know it! Experience the same authentic atmosphere stomping grapes in Tuscany Countryside! In this authentic family farm, Silvia (the owner) will prepare for you an exquisite lunch while your guide will show you the farm. You will learn the history of the cellar that date back to the 1825 and how they make wine, extra virgin olive oil and honey. During lunch you will taste 4 wines, grappa and their amazing production of extra virgin olive oil all pared with home made pasta, bruschettas, cold cuts and last but not least home made biscotti.
