A horseback ride along Tamarindo down to Langost beach is poised to become a highlight of any tropical vacation. Trot through forested areas en route to Langosta Beach. We will take stops on the way at different sites to enjoy the views. The route has beautiful sites from where you can photograph stunning sunsets (if you choose to ride in the afternoon) , rock formations shaped by the repeated fall and rise of the sea, and spot holler monkeys up in trees if it is the right time. The final destionation can be as far a Langosta beach, but we'll leave it up to our guest how far south you'd like to ride. Tamarindo is famous for its waves so you will also see many surfers riding the waves of this wonderful beach. This will be a Pura Vida style Tour on the beach and forest with our great horses. You will watch surfers, nature and animals from the saddle. This place is unique and magical, especially early in the morning or at sunset. You will love it ! See you at the beach! PURA VIDA!
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet us in front of Iguana Surf, a surfboard rental shop on the beach in Tamarindo. Walk along the main road until you see the small shop called Iguana Surf. Please don’t enter the shop—they’re not part of our tours. Instead, walk across to the beach; the lifeguard stand will be on your left.
What to expect
We may reach Langosta depending on your pace, or we’ll take a scenic turn and head back to the starting point.
The tour lasts 45 minutes to an hour, with opportunities to watch surfers at Tamarindo’s famous beach. This Pura Vida-style ride connects you to nature, wildlife, and local culture from the saddle.
Our tour is magical, especially at sunrise or sunset. We offer flexible timing between 6 AM and 6 PM, ensuring you have an unforgettable experience.
