Arusha National Park is a delightful day trip, conveniently located near Arusha town. The park is known of majestic Mount Meru, Ngurdoto Crater and Little Serengeti. Commonly-spotted animals include giraffes, buffalo, bushbucks, warthogs, colobus monkeys, and pink flamingoes. Also within the park, but more rarely spotted are leopards and elephants.

For this day-trip game drive to Arusha National Park, your driver-guide will meet you in the Arusha area (or other agreed-upon location, i.e. Kisongo, Usa River).
Your tour includes all park entry fees, vehicle expenses, guide fees, and a picnic lunch. Transportation to and from your accommodations is included as well.

Meeting and pickup

Pickup points
You can choose a pickup location at checkout (multiple pickup locations are available).
Pickup details:

Your drive-guide will pick up from a pre-arranged meeting point, usually Mount Meru Hotel or another location convenient to you.
We usually pick up between 7 am and 8 am, but please let us know if another time is preferred for your pick-up.
Your driver-guide may hold a brief meeting to go over any questions you have before starting the safari drive.

    Arusha National Park

    Arusha National Park is a lovely national park conveniently located near Arusha Town. Guests will see: - Mount Meru, a majestic volcano and the second-highest mountain in Tanzania - Ngurdoto Crater - Little Serengeti - Momella Lakes - swamp areas that are home to buffalo - Fig Tree Arch Some of the animals you might see during your game drive include: giraffes, warthogs, buffalo, zebras, waterbuck, bushbuck, elands, colobus monkeys, vervet monkeys, and elephants.

  • Mount Meru (Pass by)

    Mount Meru is Tanzania's second-highest mountain. It is a dormant volcano that last erupted in 1910. It stands overlooking all of Arusha National Park and the various angles you will witness during your game drive are remarkable.

    Momella Lakes

    The Momella Lakes are home to various waterfowl, including ducks, egrets, and flamboyant pink flamingoes. Guests have an option to enjoy their lunch at picnic tables overlooking the serene lakes. ++Canoe rides on Momella Lakes may be arranged, upon request. There is an additional cost and must be arranged in advance.
