Private day trip to the famous Chianti area in Southern Tuscany, for a fantastic excursion in a Chianti vineyard. You will appreciate the various types of wine and explanations in English by the owner of the winery. Have a typical Tuscany lunch in their small restaurant and a detailed tasting of their home wines. In the afternoon, burn off the carbs peacefully walking in the center of the town of San Gimignano, an authentic jewel of what Italy looked like few centuries ago. End the day driving back to the original point of departure, with plenty of time to make it back to the ship, or by dinner if you are stayin in an hotel in Florence.

What to expect

We depart from Livorno port or Florence and we pick you up at any hotel in town. We take you to a beautiful medieval town, in the heart of Chianti region, San Gimignano, a picture delight. Enjoy this pictoresque drive across hills filled with vineyards, then experience yourself a selection of local wines and food delicacies at a local winery. Return safely and in time to the port if you are on a cruiseship, or to your hotel in Florence.
