We continue to our desert camp in the Wahiba Sands desert, where you relax or take part in an adventurous 4×4 drive in the sand dunes. Then we will watch the stunning sunset of the desert on one of the big sand dunes. We finish the day with a dinner at the camp and a nice romantic time around a campfire

We depart the hotel, we drive to Nizwa, the old capital of Oman. Visit to the famous Nizwa Fortress. Today, the fort is a museum that showcases the history of the fort and surrounding area. Walking through the fortress you get to see amazing views of the ancient town and the nearby mountains. This impressive fortress was a base used in the military to hold off the hardest attacks and sieges.
Next to the fortress is the large Nizwa Souq, a local marketplace that offers a variety of goods including jewellery, pottery, fish, and meats.

From there we go up to Jebel Akhdar. Also known as the Green Mountain, Jebel Akhdar houses many fruit plantations and rose gardens. Take the time to walk through the hills and cherish the valley views. There is a lot of Jebel Akhdar has to offer, then drive back to Muscat.
