Rio De Janeiro, Brazil

2 to 3 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English and 1 more

This is not a regular tour, but a curated experience designed by Patrícia to explore the Botanical Garden through its landscapes, plants and cultural context.

You will not only see the garden, but understand how tropical plants are used in composition, how different species relate to Brazilian landscapes, and how nature, history and design come together in this unique environment.

Throughout the experience, Patrícia shares insights shaped by years of hands-on work and her experience at the Roberto Burle Marx Site, offering a deeper and more meaningful way to engage with the space.

We will also explore lesser-known areas within the garden, including historical elements such as the old gunpowder factory, adding another layer of cultural depth.

Depending on time and pace, the experience may also include a visit to Parque Lage, where architecture and landscape create a unique dialogue between nature and culture.
