What to expect

You will spend the day alongside Hervé, a Polynesian rich in experience, knowledge and mana (mystical power). Great traditional navigator, teller of Polynesian legends, tahu'a (healer)… Hervé is a personality with many hats. In the privacy of his home, between his fa'a'apu (vegetable garden) and his marae (sacred platform), he will introduce you to the life of a Polynesian living in harmony with his environment and his culture. Let it surprise you!

Additional info

  • To reach Hervé's house you have to cross a small river that will come up to your knees. There are dry toilets available on site. The site does not have an electrical outlet or “drinking water filtered by the municipality”, only spring water is available. Lunch will consist of products from the garden, the valley and the sea, grown and hunted by Hervé.
