Italy’s Cradle of the Renaissance is full of sun-dappled archaeological treasures you could explore, like the site of the Roman amphitheater. You might spend hours in the medieval San Giovanni quarter, passing by the house where Mona Lisa lived or visiting the tomb of Botticelli.
