The site is amazing with loads of wildlife such as flamingos, chameleons and turtles, just to name a few.
The access to the beach is easy and the water is protected from the elements by the island so everybody can easily join in. The islands can be visited by kayak.

What to expect
Praia dos Cavacos is situated in the natural Parc of ria Formosa, in front of the island of Armona. With a water temperature, always a few degrees more than the ocean and plenty of wildlife, it's a spectacular site. The islands give you loads of opportunities to leave the kayak on the beach and discover the culture or cuisine of the island.
