We will cross picturesque streets and monumental squares; we will enter spectacular palaces and visit unique churches which reveal the incredible artistic and historical heritage of the City.This tour is ideal for those who do not like travelling on a shared tour and being subjected to other people. On this tour you will have a private guide at your disposal and flexibility in modifying the itinerary if necessary.

The tour starts with the exploration of the "Royal Naples". It corresponds to the city center. We will see: - The Royal Palace (outside)is one of the city'smost imposing and famous landmarks. - Plebiscito Square the largest square in the city. - The New Castle called "Maschio Angioino"(outside) An imposing castle built in 1279 by Charles I of Anjou was the Royal seat and cultural center. - St. Charles Opera House (outside) the first lyric theater in Europe and one of the most important in Italy. - Umberto I Gallery
After that we walk through the famous Spanish Quarter to reach the "Old Naples".
Once we arrive in the Historic Center of Naples, walk on via San Biagio dei Librai, known to Neapolitan people as Spaccanapoli-that literally means "break Naples in two ".It was the main street during the Ancient Greek and Roman times.
We will reach Saint Gregory Street flanked by workshops where the local artists manufacture the famous Nativities/Crèches and see Saint Lawrence Church.
Finally, we will make our way to the Cathedral of Naples housing Saint Gennaro's Chapel. It guards the blood of the Saint which liquefies three times a year to protect the city.
