MARRAKECH – OUARZAZATE – AGDAZ

Marrakech
Your four days tour to Erg Chigaga will start at 8h00 A.M from your hotel / Riad. then winding up through the Atlas Mountains over the Tichka Pass where the views are quite stunning. You will have many stops for taking in the scenery and photography.

Ouarzazate
Once we arrive to Ouarzazate nicknamed as the door of the Desert, we will visit studios then have lunch before we Continue to Agdaz crossing the Draa river which has given life to a huge oasis spreading for about 200 Km at the foothill of the ancient Atlas mountains.

Draa Valley
Along the way, several palmeraies will bring their shades between Kasbahs and fortified villages dotted with fields of corn, barley, Vegetables and henna plantations. We will enjoy one hour or less or more gentle walk between the palm trees in the evening in a wonderful atmosphere. Your choice of Dinner and Overnight at your hotel.

Day 2
Agdaz-Zagoura- Erg Chigaga

Tamgrout
After breakfast, we shall drive to Tamgrout where a stop for the potteries famous for the green glaze and also for the ancient Quranic library with exquisite hand-written Arabic.

M'Hamid
Once we get to M’hamid further south, the very gate to Sahara where the paved road ends, we shall stop for lunch at leisure.

Erg Chigaga
Later, a one to two hour camel ride leads to the heart of Sahara and to the highest Erg chgaga dunes to enjoy a memorable sunset. You will have a splendid dinner under the stars next to the campfire while entertained by local music then spend the night in your private tent enjoying the silence and the beauty of the dunnes

Day 3
Erg Chegaga- Ait Ben Haddou

Get up early to enjoy the unforgettable sunrise. Have breakfast the road takes us through another 100 km of the desert with varying scenery crossing different features of the desert; ‘Erg’, ‘Reg’, ‘Hammadas and oases then cross the flat dried salt lake of Iriqui and the Anti Atlas mountains, following the old track of “Rally Paris Dakar”. Then to Foum Zguid the first town after the desert, where the paved road start

Day 4
Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet Kasbah- Marrakech

Telouet
After breakfast you can enjoy a one hour walk around the old Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Ait Ben Haddou is a fortified village along the ancient caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. In Ait Ben Haddou you will explore the traditional Moroccan style of architecture in which the Kasbahs are built. It is an ancient trading hub, and a fit location for filming many movies, including Game of Thrones. After this enjoy driving through scenic roads, stunning landscapes and Berber villages along the way. When we arrive in Talouat it is a must stop to visit the fabulous Kasbah of Kaid lglaoui. After this,you travel back through the zigzagging road of the Atlas Mountain, returning to Marrakech at 16:00 P.M.
