Tragedy + Time = Comedy
Join a comedian (that's me) for a small group spooky and humorous tour of the French Quarter's dark history and haunted locations!
Do you like to laugh? Do you like dark history? Then this tour is for you!
Public executions, vampires, sick women, a petty ghost! We got it all!
I am a stand-up comedian/actor who's moonlighted as a tour guide since 2018.
People describe my tour as "it's like drunk history but the guide isn't drunk...that's just her personality!"
There will be a bathroom/bar break half way through.
I keep my tour small with no more than ten guests. I am not a sheep herder. Because of the small group size, gratuities are always appreciated.
So book the tour and allow the spirits and I entertain you!
*Age requirements: 18+ but if you have a cool kid who is tagging along that loves the macabre, send me a message and we can figure out if the tour will be okay for them.
*The tour happens rain or shine.
We meet at Jackson Square across from the St. Louis Cathedral. The meeting place photo is posted, so you can find the spot. I will be wearing a jester hat.
The tour finishes at the old Ursuline Convent where supposedly they have vampire brides locked up on the third floor.
We will start our tour here and learn why New Orleans is the city of the dead.
We will walk down Pirate's Alley next to St. Louis Cathedral, where we will discuss our famous New Orleans pirate, Jean Laffite.
We will learn about the vampires of New Orleans, where the secret vampire speakeasy is, and if we have time, take a peek into the vampire store!
Our bathroom bar break will be at the longest running bar in the US
Our last stop on the tour! We will learn about the legend of the vampire brides locked up on the third floor.
