A gratifying tour through the interior of the island, enjoying the exuberant landscapes. Explore Lajes and Praia da Vitória city on the east coast, with the main objective of understanding the reason why several nations wanted to establish a military base on this island during the Second World War.
Understand the various facilities that have been installed throughout the island and at the Lajes airbase. The British and American presence during World War II as well as during the Cold War. The impact of this military presence since the landing of the troops until today.

Meeting and pickup
We offer the pick-up & drop-off at the hotel or other accommodation. At the end of the activity, we will take the participants back to their accommodation or to the starting point of the activity. You can send a message or call to indicate where we should pick up participants. The hotel pick-up and drop-off are free of charge and are included in the tour price.
