We start the day looking for our travelers by the selected accommodations. Pick up starts early, around 0730am. The first stop will be the End of the World Railway Station
Upon arrival at the train station, guests must pay admission to Tierra del Fuego National Park. The train journey takes 55 minutes. The End of the World Train invites you to relive the last 7 km of the old train route of the prisoners, which departed from the Ushuaia prison to the slopes of Mount Susanna to obtain different materials for construction. On board the train you can hear history and delight in magnificent landscapes, composed of the zigzagging Pipo River, the Macarena Waterfall, the tree cemetery and the majestic forest. Touring an inaccessible part of Tierra del Fuego National Park, you can enjoy this experience aboard a vintage railroad with its steam locomotives and elegant cars with wide windows.
Once the train route is completed we will continue the excursion. Tierra del Fuego National Park is located 12 kilometers from Ushuaia. It was created in 1960 and protects 68909 hectares. It is the only one in the Argentine Republic that combines marine, forested and mountain environment shaping the sea coast, lakes, valleys, extensive peatlands and magnificent forests dominated by lengas, guindos and ñires. During our tour, we will know only 3 per cent of the protected area, since the remaining 97 per cent are intangible and extensive areas. We will penetrate the culture and living nature, with a different proposal. As is company vision, we will visit Lake Acigami, Lapataia Bay, Beavers and lakes within the park. The meeting point will take us to trails that have been little visited, but of fundamental interest so that you can understand all the environments, discover ancient archaeological sites, as well as spot birds and fauna native to the province.
Once the National Park and World’s End Train tours are over, we will conclude at Almacén de Ramos Generales, at 1330hs (0130pm) so you can have a light lunch, before continuing the sailing experience. From there, in a straight line, they must walk 400 meters to reach the port on their own and report 30 minutes before boarding (1430hs - 230pm). Port fees are included.
Once at the pier, we will show the ticket of the excursion and prepare for the next adventure. Navigation begins 1500hs (3pm). The Beagle Channel, or Onashaga Channel, is a strait that links the Pacific Ocean to the Atlantic. Ushuaia extends along this famous canal and in the center is located the port.
