A trip through the beautiful scenery of the mountains of Orgãos takes us to the city of Petropolis, a cozy and inviting city for a stroll. We begin with the Imperial museum, the former summer residence of Emperor D. Pedro II. The gothic cathedral surprises visitors. Crystal Palace the first preformed structure, Great personalities have chosen Petropolis to live. Santos Dumont, the great father of aviation, left us his Enchanted, the house where he lived with his inventions and creations. To enchant all we will visit the orchid garden.

The meeting will be in the reception hall, our guide will have a nameplate with the company name Rio in Tours and your name. We are always at least 15 minutes before the scheduled customer appointment at the hotel. Pay attention to the guide's call ! Petrópolis in the Serra dos Orgãos is 440 meters above sea level, the temperature may be mild compared to the city of Rio, take a light coat. Stay tuned for weather conditions in Rio and regions. The walk on this tour is not long, but we advise flat and comfortable shoes. During the museum visit we have to wear slippers without taking off our shoes. Attention glides through the halls and rooms of the Palacio Imperia. Bring your camera, the view is amazing, but inside the museum you can NOT photograph or film, large bags are NOT allowed inside the museum, will be placed in lockers deposited at the reception. Stay tuned and avoid wasting time carrying small bag and keep your phone stored.

    Palace in neoclassical style, built by Emperor Pedro II. It was transformed into Museum by decree of the president Getúlio Vargas in 1940. The palace was used as the Emperor's summer palace. Pedro II and his family. The collection of the museum consists of pieces linked to the Brazilian monarchy, including furniture, documents, works of art and personal objects of members of the imperial family

    We start by picking up at the given point. We continue towards the mountains of Orgãos with beautiful landscapes until the city of Petropolis. The first stop for photos will be at the old Hotel Casino Quitandinha. We drove to the center for the Imperial Palace museum visit. in a brief walk, we arrive at the Cathedral of San Pedro de Alcantara. Stop for lunch a kilo (not included). Buffet of salads and hot dishes. (Drinks are not included). We walked to Encantada, Santos Dumont house for a photo and we returned to the car. A panoramic view of the Crystal Palace takes you to the final part of the tour a brief visit to the Orchid Garden. Return to Rio.
