Ever wonder about ways to roast your own coffee at home? What special equipment is required and what does it cost? Let Dan and Donna of Punto Fino Coffee take the mystery out and teach you all you need to know in their awesome outdoor class in Fairfax, CA. Through our Roast Your Own Coffee workshop, you will learn tricks of the trade and begin your own coffee roasting journey or just have some fun and take home some coffee beans you roasted for yourself.

What to expect
Enjoy a barista-crafted coffee while examining several popular home-roasting methods, some using tools easily found in many homes. This roasting class is great for beginners, and you are welcome to ask questions on any aspect of coffee.
As you gather around an open roaster, your senses will come alive as you witness the mesmerizing transformation of green coffee beans into rich, aromatic browns. You'll gain a deeper understanding of the roasting process and its impact on flavor profiles.
Next, your guide will explain using a handheld roaster over an open-flame stove. Now you take charge as the coffee maestro by pre-heating your ceramic roaster, adding raw beans, and applying a gentle motion as you watch the progress of your roast develop. When your session ends you will leave as an accomplished coffee roaster with your personally roasted beans. Great for small groups, and great for team-building.
