Greet the morning sun as you take flight over the Yarra Valley and its vineyards on a Yarra Valley hot air balloon flight. You'll fly for approximately one hour before completing the memorable experience of ballooning in the Yarra Valley with an optional sumptuous buffet breakfast at Balgownie Estate.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
You have to book Yarra Valley Breakfast and Transfer Package to add this pick up option - from Pullman Melbourne on the Park hotel (192 Wellington Parade, Melbourne). The pickup time will be confirmed via the Global Ballooning mobile app by 6pm the night before. It may be 2-2.5hrs before sunrise. After the flight and breakfast, we will drop you back to the Pullman Melbourne on the Park hotel in the CBD. You will be back by mid-morning, except for winter (June-August) when you're back by late morning.
Meet at Balgownie Estate. If you choose the product: Yarra Valley Flight, Breakfast and CBD TRANSFER - we can pick you up from Pullman Melbourne on the Park - 192 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne. Please reconfirm with Global Ballooning that this has been booked in 7 days prior to your flight.
What to expect
Depart from Balgownie Estate via the Global Ballooning bus to one of the many launch sites - wind dependent.
Assist in the setup of the balloon.
Up in the sky for approx. 1hr - you will fly over Yarra Valley and surrounds, however it is fully dependent on the wind direction. Every flight is unique!
Land and assist with pack down.
You'll be driven to Balgownie Estate where breakfast is held (if included in your package)
Your pilot will post your flight photos straight to the Global Ballooning app - ready to download and show off! Plus, take home a luxe magnet souvenir so your ballooning memories stick around long after you land.
