You pass through palm-filled valleys and Berber villages, with stops in Tinghir and Erfoud, the latter famous for its fossil laboratories. If time permits, visit a local fossil museum to see ancient marine fossils millions of years old.
In the afternoon you will arrive in Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Here you will transfer from your vehicle to a camel caravan, led by an experienced desert guide, and embark on a sunset camel ride through the undulating dunes of Erg Chebbi. The golden hues of the desert create a magical atmosphere, offering incrediblephotographic opportunities.
On arrival at the desert camp, you'll be welcomed with Moroccan mint tea and escorted to your luxurious private tent, equipped with comfortable beds. Enjoy a delicious traditional dinner under the starry sky, followed by a concert of Berber music around the campfire. You can go sandboarding or simply relax and gaze at the Milky Way in the pristine desert sky.
Wake up early to watch the sunrise over the Sahara, an unforgettable experience as the dunes light up in shades of gold and orange. After freshening up and having breakfast at the camp, you will return by camel to the village of Merzouga, where your driver will be waiting for you.
