Your friendly tour guide will pick you up from hotel in the morning. Start your Beijing tour from historical Tiananmen Square, the largest public space in the world.
Passing through the Heavenly Peace Gate and walking into the Forbidden City, you will step back in time and home to the Imperial Courts of Ming and Qing Dynasties for more than 500 years. Treading the historic courtyards and seeing the grandeur of the many beautiful building in the forbidden city. Learning from your tour guide the history of the Forbidden City and enjoying beautiful silk afterward.
Later, you venture to Temple of Heaven where the emperors used to pray for luck and good harvest. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and marvel at the superb outside cladding of the buildings.
After enjoying delicious local lunch, you explore the famous imperial garden-Summer Palace, enjoy the Long Corridor furnished with artistic decorations and appreciate the vast area of Kunming Lake. After paying a short visit to pearl art shop, you’ll enjoy one of the wonderful night show choosing from Acrobatic show, Peking Opera, and Kungfu Show. After that, transfer to the hotel for rest.
You will be picked up from hotel then hop into the air-conditioned vehicle drive to Ming Tombs(Changling), where the emperor Zhudi’s burial site. Enjoy delicious lunch at a local restaurant and learn the interesting jade culture at nearby gallery.
After that, head to head for Mutianyu Great Wall where it is less crowded and has better views than other sections of Great Wall. Take the advantage of optional cable car to enjoy the incredible views of the wall from the top. After hiking, enjoy cups of fragrant tea on the way back to downtown.
Stop at the Olympic Park where you can take photos from outside of modern Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. Enjoy famous Peking Roasted Duck once tried by many overseas VIP. Crispy skin and tender meat, what a delicious dinner tonight. At last, transfer back to hotel.
Pick you up from hotel at 7am and send you to Xian by high speed train. Takes about 5 hours and you have your lunch at your expense on the train. Upon arrival, the Xian tour guide and driver pick you up from the train station and send you back the hotel. You start your late afternoon trip from Muslim Street, this is a local life and food culture. You have the opportunity of trying your favorite food at your expense as your dinner.
Then you move on to the largest Musical Fountain in Asia “Great Wild Goose Pagoda Music Fountain”. There were many local people, young and old, seeing the water dancing to the music with Big Wild Goose Pagoda as a backdrop. The atmosphere was joyful. Nice way to conclude a day of the visit.
Start your wonderful bucket list tour to Terracotta Warriors. The football stadium-sized museum is incredible, filled with the painstakingly recreated Qin Terracotta Warriors, standing side by side and none of whom are, supposedly, exactly like another, while alongside stand their equally impressive horses. After lunch, you have a field trip to the City Wall which is the most complete city wall in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. You can walk or choose the popular bicycle riding the wall, to enjoy the bird’s view of the whole city. After visiting, be transferred back to the hotel.
Pick you up from hotel in the morning and transfer to the railway station for a high-speed train to Shanghai. The journey takes around 6 hours. The driver and tour guide in Shanghai will pick you up from the railway station and sent you to hotel for checking in. After resting one hour and enjoy delicious local dinner, you embark on a boat cruising on the Huangpu River. Enjoy the cool breeze, watch the colorful display of lights along the riverbanks. Later, return to hotel and take a relaxing sleep.
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Yu Garden where you can see the classic Chinese architecture, pavilions, ponds etc. Take a leisurely walk in the charming garden and get some delicious street food or souvenirs at the nearby bazaar.
Later, head to the busiest shopping street in Shanghai-Nanjing Road which is lined with name brand stores, both Chinese and International. Besides, you can visit restaurants, cafes, coffee/tea houses, and ice cream shops etc.
Afterwards, head to the Bund, one of the most noted architectural symbols of Shanghai. You can have a beautiful view of European-style buildings and opposite skyscrapers across the river.
After enjoying delicious Chinese lunch, go up the Oriental Pearl TV Tower until 259 meters to a glass-bottomed sightseeing floor to enjoy the overview of whole city and feel excited. It’s quite funny to watch travelers being very brave to walk on transparent glass. After visiting, you'll be transferred to hotel.
