    Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque

    On arrival, welcome the clients to the Muscat International Airport. Check in time at 1400h. The Grand Mosque (open for visitors from Sat to Thur 8-11 AM only, except the holidays) which is the biggest mosque in the country with beautiful art works, chandelier & a one piece carpet covering the entire prayer hall measuring approx. 4260 square meters. * Non-Muslims are allowed to visit the mosque every day, except Friday, from 8:30 until 11:00 am. Visitors are asked to dress modestly and, in a way, befitting places of worship. Women are also required to cover their hair.

    Muscat - Nizwa

    Nizwa Fort Oman

    After breakfast proceed to Nizwa. Nizwa fort with its enormous round tower built in the 17th century built by Imam Sultan Bin Saif Al Ya'aruba to defend the route to the interior. The fort dominates the entire area with the town having grown around the edifice. Access to the top is possible only by means of a narrow, twisting staircase barred by heavy wooden doors, studded with metal. From the top of the tower one can get a bird's eye view of the Nizwa city. From here you will proceed to the Nizwa Souq which is renowned for its intricately hand-carved Khanjar and ornately designed silver Jewelry.

    Next drive would be to Jabreen with en-route stopping at Bahla for a photograph of the Bahla Fort (photo stop), now a World Heritage Site. Arrive at Jabreen to visit the castle, the finest of Oman's castle built in the late 17th Century, which became a seat of Omani learning. This castle has extremely well planned layouts with room for the wali, the ladies room, the kitchen, the majlis etc. Most of the ceilings are decorated with beautiful paintings with Islamic motifs. The view from the top of the castle is mesmerizing. (Duration of visit : approx 6-8 Hours)

    Nizwa - Wahiba Sands

    Wahiba Sands

    Begin your journey by boarding a 4WD and heading towards Ibra, with a stop to explore the old houses. If it’s a Wednesday, don’t miss the unique Women's Market. Continue the scenic drive through the mountains to Wadi Bani Khalid, passing picturesque villages nestled in the hills. Upon arrival, park and take a short trek to reach the deep blue pools, perfect for a refreshing swim. Dress comfortably and wear walking shoes for the trek. Later, drive to the vast dunes of Wahiba, where you’ll encounter the traditional Bedouin lifestyle. The sand ranges from golden to orange hues, with dunes reaching up to 100 meters. You may also have the chance to visit a Bedouin family. Proceed to your camp for an overnight stay. Total duration: approximately 6-8 hours.

    Wahiba Sands - Sur

    Ras Al Jinz Turtle Reserve

    Early morning, enjoy sunrise in the desert and capture the scenic beauty in camera. After breakfast in the camp, proceed to Ras al Jinz. Ras Al Hadd where overnight stay is arranged. After dinner, visitors drive to Ras al Jynz, a protected Green turtle nesting reserve. During the nestinlg season, turtles can be seen laying eggs at night. (Duration of visit : approx 6-8 Hours)

    Sur - Muscat

    After breakfast proceed to Sur, renowned or shipyards where traditional Omani boats (dhows) are built. The coastal drive continues through Qalhat, one of the oldest towns and seaports in Oman, famous for exporting horses and importing spices from India in the 3th century. The ruins of Bibi Mariam mausoleum is another attraction here. A picnic lunch at Wadi Shab will be followed by a swim in the scenic sea fringed by white sandy beaches in Fins, reaching Muscat by late evening. (Duration of visit : approx 6-8 Hours)
