The QUEERSTORY Tour recalls the days when Montréal's LGBTQ2+ establishments were located in the west-end of downtown. Through true stories (we name names!) of struggle and triumph, we remember the horrible and the fabulous history of Montréal's queer people and institutions. You'll hear about the bars, the police raids, the parties, the cruising, the protests, the lives lost and the battles won that paved the way to today.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
On the corner of Maisonneuve and St-Mathieu, next to the metro entrance. The tour begins on time, so please plan on arriving a few minutes early. We will not be able to wait for latecomers.
