Wadi Bani Khalid is a beautiful valley in Oman, known for its clear blue water pools, palm trees, and rocky landscapes. It’s a great spot to swim, relax, or enjoy nature. People often visit for a refreshing break in the middle of the desert.
This is a large desert in Oman with golden sand dunes that stretch for miles. It’s popular for dune bashing (off-road driving), camel rides, and camping under the stars. The desert looks especially magical during sunset, when the sand changes color and the sky lights up in shades of orange and pink.
Many travelers visit both places in one day — first the cool, watery Wadi Bani Khalid, and then Wahiba Sands in the afternoon, staying to watch the sunset over the dunes. It’s a perfect mix of nature, adventure, and relaxation.

1Wadi Bani Khalid
Approximately at 11:00 AM, we depart Muscat, we drive towards Wadi Bani Khalid. This is one of the biggest and most beautiful wadis that Oman is famous for. The wadi canyon is impressive, with its amazing steep walls and breathtaking crystal-clear water pools it is awesome to look at on its own. However, one can also enjoy a swim in the relaxing cool freshwater pool or just sunbathe. The wadi is so grand that you can even have the chance to walk deeper right into the wadi itself or maybe visit its hidden caves.

2Wahiba Sands
we drive towards Wahiba Sand Desert. we will visit a traditional Bedouin house where we can try Omani coffee and , also you can ride Camel and drive to the dunes and take lots of photos. Then after we will watch Sunset at the top of the dunes. then after the sunset we will drive back to muscat.
