My wooden cabin is unique in the island, giving people a chance to learn an ancient craft in a beautiful, natural environment. Weaving is a great way to discover your creativity and feel the joy of handmade. During this activity you will weave a project of your choice and be able to finish a unique handwoven art piece.

What's Included

Basic weaving instructions in print.
Tapestry frame loom with bar heddle
Yarns and weaving tools (needles, shuttle, comb etc.)
Coffee and/or Tea
Lunch is not provided, but for a full day there are cafes nearby or bring a picnic lunch.

What to expect

Beginners & experienced weavers are welcome! Come to weave with me and have a fun & unique island experience! During approximately 3 hours, you will experience handweaving, an ancient craft, in a beautiful, natural environment. You will learn a variety of techniques on a frame loom, finishing a small wall hanging art piece or a coaster, using your choice of colours and materials. Optional Circular loom weaving is also available.
A variety of handweaving looms, including rigid heddle, 4 shaft table and inkle looms can also be observed. I love teachnig and provide patient weaving instructions. If you are already a weaver or have more time and willing to weave a bigger piece like a scarf, table runner, placemat or cushion cover, please send a message.
