Meet in front of The Bluecoat building (Bluecoat Chamber) School Lane L1 3BX. Your guide (wearing purple) will be at the main gates which in front of the courtyard of The Bluecoat. If you are at the back on College Lane please go around to the front on School Lane. (this is not the Blue Coat School)

    Located on the site of Liverpool's first dry dock here you will learn of the maritime history of Liverpool that is captured in the large water fountain, and you will be able to have a quick look down to through a port hole.     Exchange Flags is a Grade II listed and its buildings form a splendid courtyard that faces the Town Hall. With a history that includes an important role in the Second World War. Nelson Monument it also houses the large bronze monument to Nelson that dates to the early 1800's.
