Liverpool is forever entwined in The Beatles story. This walking tour is perfect for music and Beatles fans alike.
Our experienced and expert local guides are passionate about their city, music and of course the Fab Four. Our guides want to make each tour fun, interesting and memorable for everyone.
They will share with you, personal stories and fascinating stories, that will really bring to life the history and musical culture of Liverpool.
We run with small groups- maximum 20 per group.
You will meet your guide, who will be wearing purple, at the Liverpool Cruise Terminal. Disembark and walk up the gangway into the white cruise terminal building where you guide will be waiting.
After an introduction to your tour, you will start to make your way towards the area of the city for every entwined in the Beatles story.
As you walk along the dock area, you will be able to take photos of the iconic buildings that frame this part of the waterfront including the Cunard Building, the Royal Liver Building, and of course get a selfie with The Beatles as they look across the Mersey. On occasion due to events taking place on the Waterfront- access to the Andy Edwards Beatle Statue on the Waterfront maybe limited. On these occasions we stop by The Beatles Statue by John Double Day in the Cavern Walks.
As walk towards the Town Hall you will hear about its role in the music history of Liverpool. Close by you will see a monument to Nelson which is now over 200 years old.
Your first stop the Eleanor Rigby statue. A great photo opportunity, as you hear about her famous musical creator and her Liverpool connection.

The area around Whitechapel is routed in The Beatles story. You will see Hessy's the famous music shop that has launched a thousand bands and visit locations that are forever placed in the Fab Four history.

As you walk towards Mathew Street - home of the Cavern Club, you will be truly walking along a musical memory lane. Mathew Street is one of the most famous streets in the world, and is synonymous with the Cavern Club and The Beatles. You will have chance to have your photo taken in front of the Cavern Club and see all the links along the street and the area to The Beatles story.

You will visit Derby Square, built on the original site of Liverpool Castle. Here you will have chance to take some photos in front of the imposing statue of Queen Victoria, which is also the setting for a famous photo of The Beatles. Your tour will end here and your guide will escort you to the cruise terminal or you may chose to take the time to explore further and take in some shopping
