Along the way your expert guide, and former intelligence officer, shares personal anecdotes from their time overseas and interprets the remarkable history shaped by the people who called this neighborhood home, including leaders, heroes and traitors. Learn about the unique mindset of this profession as you explore the hidden histories that residents played in espionage during WWII and the Cold War. Meeting and pickup
Meet outside the Cemetery. Your contact will wear a baseball cap and carry a magazine in their right hand. He/She will approach you and ask, "do you know if there is a post office near here?" You should reply, "I believe there is, but it is closed for construction."
This tour ends outside of Martin's Tavern.
