Abu Simbel Temple Complex
Early in the morning, around 4:30 AM, your guide will accompany you on a group trip (or optional private tour) to the awe-inspiring Abu Simbel Temples, located approximately 290 km southwest of Aswan. These monumental rock-cut temples were built by King Ramses II in the 13th century BC as a tribute to himself and Queen Nefertari. Now a Heritage Site, the temples were remarkably relocated in the 1960s to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser.

Temple of Kom Ombo
After returning to your Nile Cruise, lunch will be served as you sail north toward Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, you will visit the unique twin temple of Kom Ombo, built during the Ptolemaic dynasty and dedicated to two gods—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. The temple’s symmetrical design is rare, with duplicate courts, halls, and sanctuaries for each deity.
