Get ready to wonder inside Göreme Natural Park, UNESCO world heritage site, on the horseback up and down the caves and through the valleys.

In the heart of Anatolia, Cappadocia is an extraordinary region where nature and man have united to shape the most amazing landscape. Over the centuries in the high plateau of soft volcanic rock, erosion formed a multitude of valleys, rocky outcrops. The first generations of Christians found refuge in the area and carved homes, churches and underground cities in Cappadocia’s tender rock. This fairytale-like area with extraordinary rock formations, valleys, caves and ancient churches have been one of the biggest tourist attractions inviting travelers from all over the world.

You don’t need to be a jockey, most of our customers experience horseback riding for the first time with us.

What to expect

Our first destination is the Swords Valley nearby Göreme open-air museum to ride between the caves and swords like fairy chimneys. Then we head through one of the greatest views of Göreme Park overlooking the Girls Monastery with a photo break at the top.

The next stop is at Rose Valley panorama with pinky colors of volcanic formations. After Rose Valley panorama we ride to Cavusin village visiting some parts of Rose Valley from the inner side this time. Çavusin is an old Greek village with an ancient cave castle and ruins in the middle. We will have 15 minutes of tea break here. Instead of having tea you could also wonder around the village.

Later we will get on the horses again and ride through the houses of the village and head to Pasabag, monks’ valley. Pasabag is one of the most interesting areas where volcanic shapes and erosions are vying. We will see double-triple shapes of chimneys and even ones that are like mushroom shapes. We will also have a break for lunch here.

Later we will head to Love Valley, also known as Balli Dere Valley by local people. Love Valley offers one of the most interesting shapes of fairy-chimneys in Cappadocia.
