We take you to our own personal salmon catching areas. All along the drive to our fishing destination, you may have the opportunity to see Alaskan wildlife. Bear, moose, foxes, coyote, lynx, owls and eagles. Beautiful mountains and rivers. And on one of our destinations you will fish across from the Knik Glacier.When we take you out it is more of a family friendly experience. We travel in a 4x4 Mercedes sprinter van and there will be a bbq on board for fresh grilled salmon. You are welcome to bring your own lunch and snacks but we always carry water on board.

Pickup details:

We will be in contact the day before your tour to confirm your reservation, pickup location and pickup time. We drive a silver Ford van or red Chevy Express van labeled "AlaskaAdventureguides.com". **Pickup MAY be offered at BnBs in the Anchorage area. Pickup is NOT generally available outside the Anchorage area, guests staying outside the Anchorage area will need to arrange to meet at a location in town. **

We provide pickup from Anchorage area hotels and BnBs when possible. Guests not staying at one of these locations can meet us at Midtown Fred Meyer at 1000 E. Northern Lights Blvd. We drive a silver Ford or red Chevy van labeled "AlaskaAdventureguides.com".

What to expect

Generally, we fish areas 1.5 to 3 hours north of Anchorage. We will drive through beautiful mountains and along winding rivers, always on the lookout for wildlife to photograph. We will, give you hands on instructions on how to fish. Whether it's your first time or you're a seasoned pro, we will get you on fish. We have options for cleaning and preparing your catch for shipment for an additional fee.
