Black Creek Pioneer Village is one of the most haunted locations in Canada, with reports of eerie whispers, unexplained movements, and chilling encounters. Over the years, our ghost tour guests have craved something deeper—a real paranormal investigation. Now, it’s your turn.
Join us for a spine-tingling, after-dark adventure where intimate groups of 12 or fewer gain exclusive access to investigate haunted heritage buildings—including the infamous Half Way House. Equipped with both ancient and modern techniques, we’ll attempt to make contact with whatever lingers in the village’s shadowed corners.
Will they respond? Skeptic or believer, you’ll question what you thought was possible. Nothing is hidden. Nothing is staged. ‘Alone in the Dark’ is a true, unscripted encounter with the unknown.

Meeting and pickup
You will meet us inside the Visitor’s Centre, located just off the main parking lot. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to check-in. If you are unfamiliar with the area, please allow yourself lots of time.

The Village at Black Creek is a recreated 19th-century settlement, home to over 40 heritage buildings—some original, others carefully relocated. By day, it brings Canada’s past to life, but at night, the village falls eerily silent. Shadows creep through candlelit windows, and the echoes of the past seem to linger. We will be attempting contact.
