Under one of Europe’s clearest skies, guests explore planets, distant galaxies, and glowing nebulae through professional telescopes guided by passionate astronomers with years of experience in science outreach and astrophotography.
The evening blends precision with wonder, turning astronomy into a shared adventure. A homemade dinner served outdoors, surrounded by nature and the scent of the countryside, leads into a bonfire under the stars, where marshmallows, laughter, and stories make the universe feel close and familiar.
Designed for all ages, this off-grid experience combines science, warmth, and Mediterranean night magic — a perfect mix of learning, relaxation, and inspiration.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Meet at Finca Astronómica, Cartagena. Arrive 10–15 min before start. Start times: Jan 17:00, Feb 17:30, Mar 18:00, Apr 19:30, May 19:45, Jun–Jul 20:15, Aug 19:30, Sep 18:45, Oct 17:00, Nov–Dec 16:45. Don't arrive too early, Finca will be closed. Wait at gate; staff will let you in.
What to expect
Start your evening exploring our rural, eco-friendly property surrounded by mountains and animals. Relax with a drink and enjoy sunset colours before dinner — served buffet-style outdoors.
After dinner, our astronomers will guide you through a fun and interactive Astronomy Talk, introducing the constellations, planets, and current sky events. Gather around the bonfire for marshmallows before we move to the telescopes.
You’ll take part in a complete observing session including:
- Laser-guided constellation presentation
- Optical and robotic telescope observations
- Live astrophotography streamed on screen
- Big-screen presentation
Depending on the night, you may observe planets, nebulae, galaxies, or even meteor showers — every evening is unique. The exact program will depend on the conditions but whatever they will be - you'll be amazed!
Choose between Adults-Only (Fridays), Family Night (Saturdays), or Private Group for best experience!
Optionally, stay overnight in our glamping pods or yurts, wake up to the sound of nature, and enjoy breakfast under the morning sky.
