Teno is a must-do for all hiking fans in Tenerife: our guided hiking tour goes through historical landscapes, looking at astonishing panoramas, enjoying the pure colors and sounds of nature. We recommend to round the experience sampling canarian food on site, before moving to Garachico. Once there, you can choose between a relaxing walk through the historical center of the old port town or a refreshing bath in its natural pools.

Meeting and pickup
Meeting point and parking area just in front of the Bar Los Bailaderos - the guide wears a yellow shirt. Please check the way beforehand: You are arriving on a slim and curvy mountain road. If the guide has a small delay it´s because of increased traffic. Stay calm- the guide is coming.
What to expect
No roads, no electricity, no cell phones: just a few years ago, people lived in isolation on the Teno plateau. On your way you learn about ancient times, when this area was reachable only by foot and people had to learn to by themselfes.
Close up the hike in an authentic bar where you are free to sample the local cuisine or pop into the traditional goat cheese shop.
